Hello and welcome to The Solopreneur Sisterhood – a community of heart-centered women supporting each other in building intentional businesses that transform our lives and our world, through connection and collaboration.
In The Solopreneur Sisterhood, we believe…
… when women support women, amazing things happen.
… there’s room for all of us to succeed.
… we rise by lifting others.
… we need your unique gifts and expertise, and we need one another. (We can do so much more good together.)
… by joining together, we can amplify our impact (and our incomes), while staying true to our values and what matters most.
… through and beyond our work, we can co-create a kinder, more compassionate world together.
Whether you’re just starting your business or have had some success and are ready to build momentum, we’re here to meet you where you are with ongoing opportunities for support, connection, and collaboration.
In case we haven’t met before…
Welcome, Kindred Spirit! I’m Becky Lyter McCleery, and I’m so grateful that you are here!
I’m a former teacher who has been in the online business space since 2009 – transitioning over the years from coaching to becoming an accidental virtual assistant, then an Online Business Manager, and then a Director of Operations.
Along the way, I’ve learned a lot about what works (and what doesn’t) both in my own business and from working behind the scenes of other businesses. I’ve built my business to six figures and have helped clients cross the six-figure and seven-figure marks.
More importantly (to me), I’ve learned how to build my business in a way that helps meet our family’s financial needs while giving me the flexibility to be present for those moments that matter.
And while I love the work I’ve done, for a while now, part of me has longed to help more women succeed in bringing their dreams to life. As a Solopreneur Strategist & Founder of The Solopreneur Sisterhood, I’m committed to making the entrepreneurial experience easier for others.
On a personal note, my husband and I have been married for 20+ years (we’re a real-life eHarmony couple - but that’s a story for another day) and live in Illinois (north of Chicago) with our 3 kids - 19, 16, and 15. I started dreaming about creating my own business when my first child was born in January 2007, completed my coach certification the week my second child was born in April 2009, and held my first virtual summit - really launching my first business - in June 2011 when my kids were 4 years, 2 years, and 6 months old, so it’s been quite a journey.
While so many things have changed in the online business space, relationships remain an essential element in building a sustainable business that works for you.
I know we’re all busy, and yet connecting and collaborating are crucial components in building a thriving business. The Solopreneur Sisterhood is my way of helping us intentionally build relationships with other heart-centered business owners, so that we can all rise together.
Even though you’re a solopreneur, you don’t have to figure everything out on your own.
In fact, it would be my honor to walk with you, offering support and encouragement along the way.
